Are you sure you live in Philadelphia and you know Chestnut Hill? Because what you're saying is pretty off. Have you driven through it lately or know anyone who lives there? If you don't, I highly recommend visiting this weekend. It's pretty amazing in terms of community, homes, safety, events, access to things and that's why I like living here.

I wonder why Chestnut Hill. I live in Philadelphia and I know CH is not a safe (crime wise) area. It used to be known as old money but very few of those families are left hence they have been replaced with low income, fairly uneducated demographic. Fairmount Park, relatively close by, has also seen its share of crime/especially rape/murder of female joggers. So just wondering. Please be careful.

I like this. I am thinking of my three stores. One would definitely be the famous Iowa City bookstore, Prairie Lights.

Dying to read the story of you how decided to up and move to PA. I'm having this vision of you seeing one of those house ads in Country Living magazine...
