New Site - Updated
The site is being redone and switched over so posts, images, links and other bits may or may not be working. But I’m aware and coding as fast as I can to make it all come together!
Some of the new features on the site include:
- Information on how Hygge House is built and run.
- New Bloggroll Links
- Ability to email posts. You can select this service right above each post, just below the title.
- Ability to share/save posts to any service. You’ll see the “Share/Save” link at the end of each post. You can use this feature to digg it, save it to facebook, Google Reader and so much more.
- Print Page option allowing you to skip printing all the graphics and just print the text post and the links. Just click the “print this post” link on the individual post page (to get there, just click the Post Title from the main page).
- Avatars in the comments so we can see who you are!
- Bookstore that keeps a list on Amazon of all the books listed and loved on this site.

The easiest way is to get connected is to have posts emailed directly to you. Don't worry, we like you and won't spam you, sell your address or abuse you in any other way - that's just not hygge! To get posts email just enter your email address:

I would love to hear more detail of the ways in which you manage to *scrimp* (and in what areas) with your income….so that you can *spend* on what matters the most to you.

I’d like to see a follow-up to your March 15th entry, entitled “Seeing Patterns!” Since that post, have you been able to incorporate things into your life/home which truly reflect your Loves and genuine aesthetic sense? I would enjoy hearing about the progress you’ve made (and continue to make).
I am not a Crafter, but, as a magazine junkie, I’ve done one thing over the years for my own benefit and viewing pleasure that is similiar to the “Magazine Picture-Assembly-Job” you described in your March entry. I rip out pictures of All-Manner-Of-Things that “speak” to me aesthetically on the glossy pages. (I am extremely sensitive to and finicky about *color*.) Once I have collected a great deal of these tidbits, I trim them neatly and paste them judiciously…collage-style…onto a side of store-bought posterboard. I can then visually absorb all the things I love on one gratifying “page.”
So…, anyway, a “March 15th Follow-Up” is my suggestion and wish!
