Beautiful! I grew up just outside of Pittsburgh, and these photos are so nostalgic for me. It's such a wonderful area. I look forward to hearing about your adventures in Pennsylvania!

Reading blogs from all over the world has made me so much more aware of how different the seasons can be from one place to another. I'm an Autumn-lover in Los Angeles, so of course I feel a little pang of longing when looking at photos of your new city. However, this is my home for now and even though it's quite warm today I still get my little tastes of Fall. LA isn't known for fabulous color changing leaves, but we get a few. I know firsthand because I stopped to pick up some pretty red and orange ones just around the corner. I love to take drives to the apple orchards and gardens and other special places. By spring time, I will have worn all of my cozy sweaters and turtlenecks, sipped apple cider and hot chocolate by a fireplace, visited a pumpkin patch, walked in a chilly forest, and so on. In some ways not having a real winter out here makes me feel like Fall lasts twice as long (it just starts a bit later). It might not be as spectacular as in some places, but I figure this will be excellent training for me when I do move to the perfect Fall location. It seems to have worked for you. ;-)

Alex,
I live northeast of Philadelphia and one of my absolute favorite autumn activities is apple picking. Solebury Farms is a wonderful place for apple picking - it is near New Hope, PA and Lambertville NJ - both fun little towns to explore.

Gorgeous photos as always. I am definitely an Autumn girl. It is, by far, my absolute favourite season. I experienced stunning Falls in Boston and I miss those. One thing I am definitely looking forward to with moving to the States is experiencing more New England Falls.

With Autumn, by favourite things are simply kicking the leaves as I walk (I love hearing them crunch), wearing scarves (I have a thing for scarves), pumpkin soup and lighting our Yankee "Harvest" candle.

Alex, as usual, these photos are incredible! I too am a sucker for Fall, though I didn't know it until I went away for college. Orange County is gorgeous all year round, though I found a "Real Fall" to be simply delicous. I luv living in Utah's Wasatch Mountains. When we have an Indian Summer of sorts, I find that I can still taste Fall by cooking up some of my favorite Autumn dishes: Creamy Zucchini soup, Pumpkin biscuits, Cinnamon Apple oatmeal, and Creamy Butternut Squash...Mmmm, is it too early to start thinking of dinner? :) Enjoy! luv, trina
