Hygge House. Live Well. Live Simply. Live Hygge

Updates & Changes

Travel Kitty checks out view.

Hi. I felt the need to say it since there’s been a lot of silence for a lot of reasons. Since Ireland I have been literally homeless, travelling from city to city, country to country, staying on this couch and that. Working a lot, creating a lot, and drinking tea a lot!

I am in the midst of getting ready to head back to Europe for an undisclosed amount of time for work and pleasure so all that has taken up just so much time as has friends, figuring out my home situation and just life in general.

But I haven’t forgone this site. On the contrary. I’ve been working like mad to switch it over from Movable Type over to Wordpress which is not an easy task since I am not a coder or designer and have been doing all the work myself. But it’ll make publishing easier, commenting better, and have people more involved. So I’m hoping all the hair tugging will be worth it.

In the meantime, check out the wonderful links, get inspired by great women, see all the things I’m petting and sign up to get updates via email for when things start going in full force (hopefully around May 01).

Hi Alex, since viewing and commenting on your Carmel house tour over on AT, I checked out this site and I just had to say, I’m glad I did because you totally speak my language! Reading this blog is a pleasure and I’ll keep reading up on your archives and look forward to more entries!

Glad your are posting again! I love your outlook on life and try to live that way myself. Some family members don’t get it, but my husband and I have always tried to live in the area we like and not compromise. I look forward to reading more of your blog!! Happy travels and happy living in general :)

One more thing- Typepad just added a ton of new features. They had to because Wordpress was kicking their arse. I use an advanced template and was wanting to switch software, but it looks like it will be worth it to stay. Thought it might be worth you looking into. Let me know if you still think Wordpress is better and why.
    Best,
    Kelly
