Waiting to Light

There are many reasons why I don’t post often; I’ve never been able to in the 15 years I’ve kept a blog, I’ve been extraordinarily busy, I’ve felt I haven’t had anything of value to say, the design/concept of this blog hasn’t inspired me.

I’m working on a new layout and idea for Hygge House which may or may not work. It’s a slow process but a snow day has given me some time to muck about. So things might be broken and confusing for a little bit as I sort through it all and also try to figure out for myself what this is all for, a mission statement if you will.

So until then, I apologise for leaving you in the dark. I hope to turn the light on soon.

Glaedelig Jul Alex! :) I admire that you only post when you feel inspired or have a moment to sit and write…not because you feel you have to. I’m excited to see where hygge house goes…it’s all about the journey right? much luv, trina

    Hello Alex,

I hope you are having a lovely “snow day”/week. It is a wonderful thing that you blog only when inspired – and 9 times out of 10 your posts are magnificent for it.

Hopefully the listlessness you are feeling will pass – I hope you do not feel pressured to blog, or that people will judge you if you don’t. You must do what’s best for you, but know that there are so many of us “dormant visitors” whose hearts are warmed by your lovely pictures and honest, real blog entries.

Warm thoughts to you as you spring clean they Hygge House.

    Sarah

For me, Hygge House has always been about finding the beauty and joy in a life well lived. I’m extremely saddened that you don’t find the concept of hygge inspiring. Best wishes to you in your work.
