Once a week I’m going to post a collection of links and loves I’ve been using/reading/re-discovering. Here’s this weeks:
- Organic and Master Gardner (and all around great girl) Willi Galloway has a new blog, Diggin Food. I’m so glad she finally has a site and shared her Clarified Butter Recipe since I just started making my own.
- Strawberry Kiwi Mousse over at Domicile. Yum, anyone?
- White Devil Laundry bags. I saw them at a shop this weekend and fell in love. I literally could not stop petting it. I would have bought it but the store’s vibe was just awful. But there’s always online ordering if I could just figure out a colour…
- Kerstin Martin’s photos on Flickr.
- Mount Shasta Lavender Farm Tours
- Holly of Decor8 has set up a personal blog called Haus Maus in which she talks about decorating her flat in Germany
- Santa Monica’s new Ferris Wheel. Having lived in Santa Monica for 4 years, I’ve only been to the pier twice and never on the ferris wheel. Now I have to stop in.
- The Story of Stuff
- Escape from Consumerville; great LA Times article worth a quick read.
- Shelteriffic Blog
I’m now interested in attending the Mount Shasta Lavender Farm tour (cutting my own lavender in the fields!). I think I might be able to talk my husband into making the drive! We live relatively close by and he, as a hiker, always enjoys visiting the area.
On Mount Shasta Lavender Farm’s website, I just purchased a set of 3 lavender laundry sachets ($12 plus shipping). I don’t buy or use dryer sheets anymore (chemicals), so these sachets will be a treat for my bed linens!
Thanks for the info, Alex!
Thanks for the nod, Alex! I noticed a lot more activity on my flickr account and wondered if someone had linked me, and here you did 🙂 I also see that I am in great company, I love especially Holly’s Haus Maus! Thanks 🙂
Good links Alex , thank you for sharing
I work in education, and the schools will be out very soon. I am SO excited to go here for the beginning of the summer!
eek…I didn’t specify I was talking about the lavender farm. I was too excited about it!
Hi Alex! I LOVE your blogs! 🙂
