SANTA MONICA, CA 1950’s Flat Complex (August 2008-)
Recently remodeled kitchen and bathroom, this 1 bed, 1 bath flat retains its natural charms such as crown moldings, light fixtures and original hardwood floors. 10ft high ceilings with lots of windows and surprisingly a lot of closet space.

CARMEL BY THE SEA, CA - 1960’s Flat Complex (December 2007-March 2007)
I took on a vacation rental across from the famous Cypress Hotel (they owned the same building). It had just been renovated inside and out and the views were amazing. What wasn’t amazing was the fact that Carmel received storm after storm resulting in flooding and severe damage to the flat, causing me to leave early. This flat was featured in Apartment Therapy, San Francisco.

SANTA MONICA, CA 1940’s Flat Complex (May 2007-December2007)
I lived in a one bedroom in this 8-building complex and moved into the 2 bedroom, 1 bath 900 square foot flat instead. This felt like a home with a large living/dining room, built in book case and very long, lovely hallway. Excellent storage and a front and back entrance it was just a truly charming home.

AUSTIN, TX 1941 Bungalow (September 2006-September 2007)
I bought this home in the fall of 2006 and sold it the following year since I spent most of my time in Santa Monica. It was a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home that only had one other owner before me. It was approximately 1000 square feet, had a large unusable shed and a very large front and back yard that I landscaped slightly.
