I LOVED the Nancy Drew movie....I love the books too. There are versions from the 30s and 60s (reprinted to show our changing times....i.e. less offending racist terms, covertable not roadster, etc). I think the books are interesting to read to show how the &quot;author(s)&quot; imparted societies ideals to young children during those times. Nancy Drew had skills, was quite adventurous and got herself into all sorts of things! But she never seemed to miss lunch.
